What Verify a Pro is
Verify a Pro is an independent directory that organizes public state license records so consumers can find credentialed professionals. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any state or government agency.
Informational purposes — verify before you hire
Listings are provided for general information and reflect data as of the date shown. A license status can change at any time. Always confirm a professional’s current license on the official state portal before you hire. A license indicates accountability (an exam, a bond, a record) — it is not a guarantee of quality, and we make no such guarantee.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is.” While we work to keep records accurate and current, we do not warrant that all information is complete, error-free, or up to the minute. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the Service; your use is at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Claiming a listing
If you claim a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act for that licensed business and that the information you provide is accurate. We verify claims against the state record before publishing profile changes and may decline or remove a claim at our discretion.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell the directory data.
- Do not use the Service to harass any listed professional or to misrepresent a credential.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
Intellectual property
The Verify a Pro name, design, and compiled directory are our property. Underlying license facts are public records. You may link to listings; you may not copy the compiled database.
Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the update.
